CHRIST (Deemed to be university) organised its 49th Alumni meet on 26 January, 2019. The alumni meet is conducted every year in order to reconnect with the alumni’s and celebrate their success and various achievements. This alumni meet was one special event as CHRIST celebrated its Golden Jubilee year. The event was presided over by the Alumni Association President followed by Felicitating the Principal who have served the office.

Following this was the Alumni meet of Department of International Studies and History. The meeting started off with the welcome note by Dr. Madhumati Deshpande addressing students by warm welcome speech and kind of experience that the students have created in building the milestones of the department through various achievements in the recent years. Following this was the address note by the other faculty welcoming the students and sharing their experience of teaching them and how they were overwhelmed by their students’ progress in various fields.

Then was an interactive session of the passed out students who shared their experience of lessons learnt from CHRIST. The alumni’s were very much thankful for their teachers as they had trained them to face the future world. The alumni’s have widely spread in different fields like teaching, risk analysts, owning start-ups etc. Alumni’s also shared their experience of how they were able to meet up their commitments within the given time all because of the time management skills learnt from CHRIST.

Finally the meet ended up with a very energetic and exciting games organised by the teachers of the department which was the most fun filled part of the entire meet.
